Twilight Tattoo

Solution:
The U.S. Army's Twilight Tattoo is a monumental live event tradition. During the pandemic, the tradition was continued virtually. The data gathered in 2020 informed the 2021 approach - the performance could not exceed 10 minutes. As a result, we produced 8 episodes for distribution, and viewership increased from 8000 viewers in 2020 to 100,000 viewers in 2021 following release of the first episode.
The performances carried on the history of "by soldiers, about soldiers". Because actors were not used, direction included extensive coaching of the performers. Multiple venues, a variety of cameras, and green screen effects were used to tell the story.
